In the heart of Roche Bois, around 100 children — street children and children from broken families — start their day without a guaranteed meal. No breakfast. No lunch. Just uncertainty.
These are children who deserve warmth, nourishment, and a chance to simply be kids. A full stomach is not a luxury — it is the foundation for everything else: learning, growing, and dreaming.
We are looking for contributions of food and supplies to provide daily breakfast and lunch for these 100 children. Every contribution, big or small, makes a real and immediate difference to a child who has very little.
🥛 Milk, bread, cereals for breakfast
🍚 Rice, lentils, vegetables, canned goods for lunch
💰 Monetary donations to purchase fresh produce
You don't have to change the world today. You just have to feed one child.
If you can contribute — whether through food donations, supplies, or a financial contribution — please reach out. Together, we can make sure no child in Roche Bois goes to bed hungry.
Because every child deserves a meal. 🧡

To support this mission, we are launching a campaign to collect surplus and reusable construction materials from contractors, suppliers, developers, and homeowners.
Why This Campaign?
Across Mauritius, construction projects often generate surplus materials that remain unused — materials that can still change lives.
Instead of becoming waste, these resources can be redirected to build secure homes for families in need.
Materials Needed
We are seeking donations of:
Surplus cement (unopened bags)
Rock sand / aggregate
Marine plywood (Planches Marine)
Marble and tiles (new or unused surplus)
Doors and windows
Other reusable construction materials in good condition
Even small quantities can make a significant difference when combined.
Impact
By donating surplus materials, you help:
Provide safe housing to vulnerable families
Improve living conditions for children and elderly persons
Restore dignity and security
Reduce construction waste and promote circular economy practices
Lower environmental impact by minimizing landfill disposal
This campaign is not just about building houses — it is about building futures.
Environmental Responsibility
Construction waste contributes significantly to landfill pressure. Redirecting usable materials supports sustainable development by:
Reducing unnecessary waste
Lowering carbon footprint
Promoting responsible resource management
Together, we can transform surplus into shelter.
Call to Action
If you are a contractor, supplier, developer, or homeowner with surplus construction materials, we invite you to partner with us.
Let your excess become someone’s foundation.
Let your surplus become someone’s shelter.
