In close collaboration with IndianOil (Mauritius), we are organising a FREE workshop for Women Home-Based Workers in Mauritius, with a strong focus on Business Skills, Financial Literacy, and Digital Transformation.
Workshop Details
Date: Saturday, 25 April 2026
Time: 9.00 AM to 4.00 PM
Venue: The Docks, Port Louis
Fee: Free of charge
This workshop has been created for women who are building something meaningful from home, often with quiet determination and very limited support. Across Mauritius, many women are baking, stitching, crafting, consulting, styling, freelancing, caregiving, and running small home-based activities that help sustain their families and shape their futures.
Yet too often, these women are expected to carry the burden of enterprise without access to the right tools, training, financial knowledge, or digital confidence.
This is why this initiative matters.
This is not just a workshop. It is a chance to give women practical support, renewed confidence, and real momentum.
Participants will benefit from learning around:
Business and entrepreneurial skills
Financial literacy and money management
Digital transformation and digital tools for business growth
Innovation and sustainable thinking for small businesses
Personal action planning for future growth
The goal is simple but powerful: to help women move from hard work alone to better strategy, stronger confidence, and more sustainable growth.
We would be deeply grateful if you could share this opportunity widely and encourage eligible women in your ecosystem to apply.
Application link: https://forms.gle/SK8cupHqJug7U6Br8
More details about the workshop: https://drkrishnaathal.com/academy/women-home-based-workers-in-mauritius/
As places are limited, we encourage women to apply as early as possible.
We also humbly request that those who have already participated in one of our workshops before refrain from applying this time, so that we may give a chance to new women who have not yet had the opportunity to benefit.
At a deeper level, this initiative speaks to the kind of Mauritius we want to keep building.
A Mauritius where women are not left to struggle in silence.
A Mauritius where enterprise is nurtured not only in offices and boardrooms, but also in homes, neighbourhoods, and small beginnings.
A Mauritius where dignity, opportunity, and skills are not reserved for the few.
A Mauritius where empowering one woman can strengthen a whole family, and sometimes even change the future of a generation.
Sometimes, all it takes is for the right message to reach the right woman at the right time.
We hope you will help us make that happen.
Thank you for your support, your trust, and your contribution towards a more empowered and self-reliant Mauritius.

Pont Du Tamarinier is actively building and repairing homes for disadvantaged households in these communities, restoring dignity, safety, and hope.
To support this mission, we are launching a campaign to collect surplus and reusable construction materials from contractors, suppliers, developers, and homeowners.
Why This Campaign?
Across Mauritius, construction projects often generate surplus materials that remain unused โ materials that can still change lives.
Instead of becoming waste, these resources can be redirected to build secure homes for families in need.
Materials Needed
We are seeking donations of:
Surplus cement (unopened bags)
Rock sand / aggregate
Marine plywood (Planches Marine)
Marble and tiles (new or unused surplus)
Doors and windows
Other reusable construction materials in good condition
Even small quantities can make a significant difference when combined.
Impact
By donating surplus materials, you help:
Provide safe housing to vulnerable families
Improve living conditions for children and elderly persons
Restore dignity and security
Reduce construction waste and promote circular economy practices
Lower environmental impact by minimizing landfill disposal
This campaign is not just about building houses โ it is about building futures.
Environmental Responsibility
Construction waste contributes significantly to landfill pressure. Redirecting usable materials supports sustainable development by:
Reducing unnecessary waste
Lowering carbon footprint
Promoting responsible resource management
Together, we can transform surplus into shelter.
Call to Action
If you are a contractor, supplier, developer, or homeowner with surplus construction materials, we invite you to partner with us.
Let your excess become someoneโs foundation.
Let your surplus become someoneโs shelter.
