About "A Happy Day"
‘‘we are happy as our minds make us to be.’’ - Abraham Lincoln
Let us take the conscious decision to be happy and to make others happy.
With the global pandemic, the Wakashio oil disaster, the Ukrainian war, and all the other typical life obstacles, the preceding years have rattled our welfare and happiness.
Domestic violence has grown, as have admissions to mental health centres, increasing alcohol and drug misuse, behavioural issues in children, and so on.
The year 2022 will go down in history as a turning point for the entire planet. But let's take this opportunity as a life lesson and a chance to appreciate the significance of happiness in people's lives all across the world.
Mauritius, our small paradise, is ranked first as the happiest country in Africa and the 49th in the world, as per the world population review report 2023!
We can do something to put a smile on everyone's face and heart.
Join us for "A Happy Day" campaign for a happier, healthier and positive Mauritius.
A Happy Day Objectives are
Put a smile on everyone’s face and heart
Remind people to pause in the pursuit of happiness and be happy
To provide access to life's pleasures to those who previously could not access the same
To provide an opportunity for the "haves" to share with the "have-nots."
Amplify messages of happiness and related subjects (happiness, mindfulness etc)
"Thousands of candles can be lighted from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared." Buddha
