🥳🎡In April 2011, at its 17th General Assembly held in Guadalajara, Mexico, the International Arts Association (AIAp/ IAA) unanimously adopted the initiative presented by the Turkish National Commission for the UNESCO This initiative aimed to proclaim April 15, the birth date of the famous polymath Leonard Da Vinci, World Art Day.

🎊The celebration of this significant day aims to strengthen the links between artistic creation and society, thereby emphasizing the contribution of arts to a more developed, free and peaceful world.

☀️In Mauritius, the Action for Artistic Creativity in collaboration with the Centre Nelson Mandela Centre for African Culture Trust Fund invites the Mauritian public to celebrate World Art Day with a 9th exhibition in Lespas Lar, La Tour Koenig.
