Mauritius is a facing lot of types of human rights violations due to our nation as most of them are not aware of their rights

Outcomes
the knowledge of your rights makes it possible for anyone to challenge public services and policies to improve them for one person, or everyone in our community. This can include: self-advocacy – standing up for yourself individual advocacy – standing up for someone else’s rights systemic advocacy – if you are trying to change a system to address the structural causes of inequality. The core values of human rights, such as equality, dignity, autonomy and respect are also central to principles of advocacy and advocates.
Impacts
Children are the future. They need to know their human rights and know that they must take responsibility to protect themselves and their peers. As they become aware and active in this cause, the message travels far and wide, and someday universal human rights will be a fact, not just an idealistic dream.
