This event is being organized within the framework of the Awareness Raising Activity, one of the 3 components of the ADD/Mitshui OSL Lines (MOL) Limited Charitable Trust Fund Programme (01 January to 31 December 2022) The MOL Charitable Trust Fund has been established in June 2021 to provide widespread support to Mauritius and promote activities related to recovery and protection of the environment and ecosystems in Mauritius following the MV Wakashio Oil Spill incident in July 2020. Activities comprise restoration, preservation, and research measures related to mangrove forests, coral reefs, and wild birds, including rare species.
