The Southern Handicapped Association SEN School, is an NGO founded in 1985 in the South of Mauritius and since then caters for 125 people with disabilities. We have more than 30 staffs working under the organisation on a full time basis and other on a part time basis. Our school has different units such as pre-primary, primary, rehabilitation, prevocational and aquaponic system.
We wish to paint our school again as the last time we painted was around 2012.
Painting the school with new designs and making it more disabled friendly
Lack of proper painting and paints in the school Not painted since more than 8 years
Searching for potential sponsors to paint the school
1 - It Makes the Place Look Clean 2- It Makes the School Brighter 3 - It Makes the School Inviting 4 - Increased Learning 5 - Enhances School Experience for Children with Additional Needs
Colour has a huge effect on children who attend special needs school. By painting door frames and skirtings one shade darker than the colour on the wall makes it easier for children with impairments to make out the perimeter of the room and any entry or exit points
