At Nou Baz Solider, we are entering a key phase of our activities with the upcoming end-of-year season and our ongoing work to accompany selected vulnerable beneficiaries.
We are seeking motivated volunteers who wish to contribute their time and energy to this impactful project.
Joining us means not only supporting a project that promotes solidarity, inclusion, and circular economy, but also directly impacting families and individuals who rely on our services. Volunteers will have the opportunity to engage with the community, strengthen their own skills, and take part in a meaningful initiative such as organisation of workshops/trainings and help to reduce textile waste.
If you know any interested volunteers, who would like to be part of this effort, please do not hesitate to contact me directly by email or on 5773-5142 for more details.
Thank you in advance for your support, and we look forward to welcoming them on this journey with us.
Warm regards,
Zainal Kareemun
Be part of our impact to people and the planet.
Many families and individuals in vulnerable situations face significant challenges in accessing affordable food, clothing, and essential goods. At the same time, large quantities of items that could be reused or repurposed are wasted, contributing to environmental degradation. Beyond material needs, people in situations of vulnerability often struggle with unemployment, social exclusion, and lack of opportunities to develop skills and regain autonomy. Our project addresses these interconnected problems by: Reducing food insecurity through affordable access to essential products. Fighting waste and promoting a circular economy by repairing, reusing, and upcycling items. Creating job opportunities and training pathways for people facing barriers to employment. Supporting social inclusion by building community-based solutions.
We provide affordable access to food and essential goods through our solidarity shop, while also giving a second life to clothing, household items, and materials that would otherwise go to waste. By promoting reuse, repair, and upcycling, we reduce waste and encourage responsible consumption. At the same time, we create employment and training opportunities for people in vulnerable situations, helping them to build skills, confidence, and economic independence. Our approach combines social support, environmental sustainability, and community empowerment to bring long-lasting impact.
Improved access to affordable food and essential goods for 100 vulnerable families. Reduction of waste through reuse, repair, and upcycling of items. Increased employment and skills development opportunities for people in situations of vulnerability. Greater social inclusion and empowerment of beneficiaries within their communities. Stronger awareness around circular economy and responsible consumption.
In the long term, our initiative will contribute to reducing poverty and food insecurity by ensuring sustained access to affordable essentials. It will also foster a culture of reuse and circular economy, helping to significantly reduce waste and environmental impact. By empowering vulnerable individuals with skills, jobs, and opportunities, we aim to strengthen their economic independence and promote lasting social inclusion. Ultimately, the project builds more resilient communities that are both socially and environmentally sustainable.
