Description

The Human Rights and Citizenship Education(HRCE) training project aims principally at giving secondary school students of age 14 to 24 in the Republic of Mauritius, skills, knowledge and values that would further their personal growth and understanding of human rights and responsibilities as a citizen of the country. It would furthermore improve their interpersonal skills and enhance their critical and exploratory thinking, thus encouraging them to stand up for their rights and respect those of others, and to ultimately adapt to changes in an increasingly globalized environment. We at Dis-Moi strongly believe that the young generation should be equipped with the right tools and empowered with the requisite knowledge in order to become aware and show respect to the rights of every human being on the planet.
